Conference on the Opening of the Gallipoli Front and the March 18 Naval Victory Held
The annual conference organized by our university, focusing on the significance and historical depth of the Gallipoli Campaign, was held again this year.
The conference titled “The Opening of the Gallipoli Front and the March 18 Naval Victory,” delivered by Buğra Terzi from Çanakkale Onsekizmart University, took place on March 18, 2026, under the moderation of Prof. Yenal Ünal.
The event attracted many academics and students. It aimed to examine the strategic, military, and historical dimensions of this decisive struggle and to strengthen participants’ historical awareness.
