Bartın University (BARÜ) has launched a thesis-based, interdisciplinary Master’s Program in Family Counseling under the Graduate School of Education, following approval by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

The program aims to train specialists who will strengthen family structures, improve family communication and problem-solving skills, and contribute to individual, family, and social well-being through scientific research. With this new program, BARÜ has expanded its range of graduate offerings and its capacity to address social needs.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya emphasized the university’s commitment to increasing quality and diversity in graduate education and thanked all those who contributed to the establishment of the program.
