Sociology Department Lecturer Dr. Alkan Üstün went to Portugal within the scope of Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility

Department of Sociology faculty member Dr. Alkan Üstün was in Portugal within the scope of Erasmus + teaching mobility program. He was a guest at Universidade da Beira Interior in Covilha, Portugal between October 9-13, 2023. Seminars on "Climate Change and Turkey's Struggle against Climate Change" were given to the students of the Department of Sociology as well as "Turkey's Socio-Cultural Structure" to the students of the Department of Political Science.
One-on-one meetings were held with Prof. Dr. Arminda Paço, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Nuno Amaral, Head of the Department of Sociology, Prof. Dr. Bruno Costa, Head of the Department of Political Science, and opportunities for cooperation for future joint studies were discussed. In addition, it was stated that faculty members and students of Universidade da Beira Interior can realize mobility within the scope of the existing Erasmus agreement and were invited to Bartın University.
